Maryland has a few village projects, some up-and-running, some in-the-works. Each is independently organized, so our hope with this coalition is to provide those planners, developers, funders, and organizers with voices, with feedback, with butts-in-seats, and potential wallets, to make those projects a reality. This list does not include builders who are not proactively funding or planning to build a village, nor does it include farms unless the homes operate as a pocket neighborhood (see #3 Word-of-Mouth Villages below!).

An ADU is typically defined as a standalone tiny home affixed to a concrete slab in the backyard of a single-family home...or its defined as a granny-flat/garage conversion or a micro-apartment in the basement/attic of a single-family home. Our list of counties and jurisdictions that have expressed committed interest in or confirmation of accessory dwelling units, is now a part of the Maryland Dept of Planning **Accessory Dwelling Unit’s Policy Task Force Final Report.**
