Welcome to Soulstrong. An online, personal civic studio by Justin Fair. A space to slow down, reflect, and design a life that holds.

I believe the way we move through the world— how we build, speak, rest, and relate— can be a spiritual practice.

Grounded in Jewish ethics and shaped by creative passion, I move with the steady rhythm of stoic, reflective practice— I invite you to explore my way of living. What I call Soulstrong—where story and structure help cultivate integrity, connection, and care.

Civic engagement asks something of you: be creative, uplift others, and stay steady. To be soulful is to be ethically grounded. To be strong is to show up for public repair. That’s the practice: building character in community—integrity expressed through public work.

About Me

Justin Fair, Baltimore, MD

I’m Justin Fair—by-day, I am an urban planner, and by-night, I am an artist who hosts the Soulstrong Podcast. I work in Baltimore, Maryland. My work is fourfold: I blend

storytelling and civic design;

drawing and discipline;

movement and mindfulness;

sacred study and everyday life.

Here you'll find updates on my Baltimore-based urban planning projects, on gallery showings, public art commissions and artist salons; podcast episodes; and experiments in community-building. I see these initiatives as a blend of the real, the relational, and the imaginative.

This isn’t about striving—it’s about rooting. This isn’t about branding—it’s about becoming. It’s about showing up—consistently—for the places and people we love. Join me in being Soulstrong.
